Who am I?
In my teen years, I heard from a few mentors who inspired me that 20’s are great for exploring and experimentation and that's exactly what I've done. I've managed to cram as much adventure in both business and personal life into 9 years as possible. I have hosted or co-hosted 13 retreats, and you'll hear me say that they are a form of modern-day rites of passage. I fricken love them. I have a huge passion for health and personal development and that has led me to become a mentor for others in both group programs and 1 on 1 coaching, supporting 100's of business owners to improve their health, have better relationships, clarify direction, strengthen leadership, and build more aligned businesses. In between my entrepreneurial journeys, I have held leadership roles across operations, strategy, partnerships, and community development, eventually working alongside alternative business owners who share my values. I can't stand corporate dynamics; I feel like I start becoming a corpse, and that's just not what I'm going for in life. Also, 4 weeks holiday a year is such a shitty idea - I switched that to 3 months of travel a year, while working from my laptop on the go. After moving out of home at 15 I dived into the hustle pretty hard and had over 25 different jobs before I was 21. I worked 70-80 hours a week across 2-3 different jobs, looking for purpose. I’d ask myself, would I be fulfilled here in 5-10 years and I’d look at the most ‘successful’ people in the company and they always had loads of red flags- depressed, overweight, falling-apart families, major health issues, highly strung; the list goes on and on. I didn’t want to end up like them. I finally worked out I couldn't have the freedom to do what I want in life, both in an organisation and outside of it unless I had the creative freedom to work for myself, so I traded the idea of a ‘9-5’ or more like a 6-6 to working 10 am until whenever I felt like it. I've helped bootstrap dozens of startups to multi-6+ figures with businesses they actually enjoy, which eventually led me to consulting others on how to do what they love and love what they do for purpose. I have been a health, purpose and relationships mentor for multi-million-dollar founders, being the safe and trustworthy guide they can lean on when everyone else leans on them. Basically, most of my work has been working with these two types of people: Helping super successful business owners have more spiritual meaning and health in their lives, and helping super spiritual, healthy people create a thriving business so they can have more money to support themselves and others. I have also worked with 3500 young people aged 13-17, hosting rites of passage programs to help improve their wellbeing and quality of life. The last 15 months of my life have been quite different; I moved from the city to a rural 20-acre property, and I started thinking about what I want to do with the next decade of my life. I’m more interested in long-term business relationships that I can grow alongside through all different seasons of life, 30’s 40’s 50’s and so on. I like the idea of business endeavours feeling more like a community of trusted allies. I enjoy cultivating the kind of friendships that can potentially last a lifetime. I’ve become a board member of an organic agriculture project in Africa and Germany As well as partnered with a Founder of a Ugandan Charity to expand the NGO to Australia and USA. I have no idea what the future holds for my career, but I know I love being a big part of helping people find their purpose and their people and I love being the bridge between wealth and grassroots philanthropic projects that make the world a kinder place.
My Business
These days I run an at-home wellbeing studio teaching yoga, breathwork, meditation, and providing sound healings. I'm thinking about expanding the project by creating a bathhouse inside a glasshouse with a sauna, icebath and magnesium hot tub. I work on my charity most days because I love helping orphaned and street kids who have no home, food or community find their place in the world.
