The past two years have been a sh*t show for our country, with COVID wiping out all the best experiences we get, whilst keeping the worst.
The HSC has been a wipe; University isn’t a wild party and social life combined with study… instead of sitting at home watching lectures we could get for free on Youtube.
Want to meet new people?
We will be hosting regular parties, pub crawls, karaoke nights, beach meetups, coastal hikes and even bush retreats, plus we will end the program on black-tie formal night, drinks and food included.
Come along to our regular workshops where we discuss how to manage your money and do your taxes, grow your network, get access to top internship programs, start a business, and more.
If you want to access one of the 200 spots, click the link below and come along to my information night, where I will take you through all the details and answer any questions you might have.
The 3 E’s! You have our permission to try anything and everything free of judgement. Take advantage of being young and explore new things, experience what the world has to offer and experiment new ideas.
Use this time to prepare for the real world. Prepare for what you want to do and where you want to do. Don’t jump into something without first preparing.
Growth doesn’t happen inside our comfort zone. If you want to grow as a person you must be willing to seek discomfort and break out of your comfort zone.
A huge part of the program! Have fun, party and meet new people. Go on hikes, go to clubs, attend our events and meetups. Enjoy yourself without the stress of organising events
Treat everyone with respect. Leave egos at the door and find your tribe of people. Connections will get you further in life than anything else.
Be open minded to new ideas and new way of thinking. Be open to anything and everything we offer even if it is something you would usually say no to.
At 11 years old I was put into a group of three with my two mates.
Our teacher had given the class a goal to shoot a video reenacting a scene from our favourite book.
We chose our favourite book Eragon. After shooting a sword fight I went home and opened up iMovie for the first time.
I quickly became addicted and from then on I was known as the video guy throughout primary school and highschool.
But come graduation time I couldn’t see the value in a film degree, so I decided to take a year off and just make videos. I ended up landing a job which gave me an insight into the business world and entrepreneurship.
In 3 months I learnt more valuable skills than I had in two years at school and every event I went to people twenty years older than me would come up and say “I wish I had this information when I was 18, imagine what I could have done”.
This changed my life however at the same time I felt very lonely. I was yet to make decent friendships outside of my highschool mates, I very rarely went out and I just didn’t feel like i had people I could talk too.
(A two day life skills program for young people), which is one of my proudest accomplishments and something I am looking forward to grow.
My life long goal is to help change Australias education system so it is more focused on relevant and updated topics and skills allowing the next generation to thrive.
I believe young people are more disconnected and lack a community now more than ever. This is why I started the program.
To bring together a group of like minded people, allowing them to be who they are and thrive in a supportive community that focuses on building relationships and providing practical education that will set them up for life.
This is just the beginning for Driven Young, I hope you see the value in the work we do and decide to join us.
Much love,
Hey Byron my name is Angelina and im from Canada. I’m a big fan of your podcast. I originally found out about it on tiktok of course. They have taught me so much and inspired me even though I am only 14. I’m new to the whole podcast thing but I’ve only found yours the only interesting one because of how many different things you talk about. I’ve even convinced my parents to listen to the podcast and they even have been learning new things. I just wanted to let you know that you have a big impact on my life in the past couple of months. I know you don’t get paid for these podcast so I’m trying to spread the good word about it:) I will definitely be the first to buy your book! Oh and I absolutely love the intro. It always gets me pumped.
Hello thought i’d reach out. I’m 19 years old and only the lockdown has made me really consider both my physical mental and professional development. Just sat and watched your podcast with Ryan Herrington. Absolutely loved every minute of it from both sides of the table. Got so much value from it, and look forward to watching your next podcast. Would be great to do an EP2 and catch up with Ryan next year to see where the next 12 months have taken him! Will be tuning into every podcast now! Wish you the best for the year! Inspiring!
hey, I’m a 13 year old girl from Norway, and I love listening to your podcast. I listened to episode 52, and I just want to say that i’m really grateful for you talking about this. I have been feeling really depressed lately, bcs I feel like i’m not living for me anymore. I go to school, and after that i’ll start studying, and then get one of those normal and boring jobs that don’t even interest me. You explained it so good in that episode. It’s like i’m trapped. Everyone asked me what I wanna be when I grow old, but the truth is that I just want to be free. I want to do what I want. I just wanna live, and feel like my life matter, and that I can be able to make a difference. I just want to thank you for everything you do. I really appreciate it
